We will be bringing the spirit of competition to our family activities with a Youth Palio. A Palio is a series of Renaissance Italian neighborhood games and competitions that exist in many cities in Italy still. We’ll have games and races and most importantly FUN. Bring your kids and play the day away.
Daily Friday Saturday and Sunday:
8:00 am till 10:30 am: skills and sparring
2-4:30 pm: tournaments and games
Friday 6:30-9:30: ‘Fight with Knights by Torchlight and Pizza Night’ at Town Square
Youth Games Tent:
Period and modern non-electronic games open 9:00-5pm Friday and Saturday
Token Workshop Friday Noon and Saturday 9am
Friday afternoon: hobby horse decoration, banner making,
Youth origami Sunday Morning
Friday Afternoon: cheese rolling and falcon race
Saturday: 10:30-noon: bean bag tosses, foot races, and the regatta
Saturday 1-3:45: hobby horse races, barrel roll, hoop race, and blind horse
Bio: Baroness Fortune St Keyne has been in the Society for just over a decade now and is a member of House Strangewayes. Her goal is to bring as much fun and laughter to events as possible. As such she is bringing the fun of the Palio di Stonemarche to the event’s Family Activities with games and competitions galore.
